Reporting to the Clinic Manager, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides comprehensive, culturally safe, and holistic primary health care services to Indigenous individuals and families across the lifespan. Guided by the principles of Indigenous health and community wellness, the NP works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team that may include physicians, nurses, mental health workers, traditional healers, and allied health professionals. The NP plays a vital role in promoting health, preventing illness, managing chronic disease, and integrating traditional and western models of care to support the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of clients.
